BamBed is a 3 piece sleeping/utility platform designed for the Toyota Tacoma. It provides enough area to slide in up to a full-size trifold mattress, allowing the bed to remain made while storing gear underneath. It is a modular design that can be reconfigured to accommodate taller items such as mountain bikes, coolers, and camp furniture while you're on the road. Unlike permanently installed systems, this platform can be removed in under a minute with no tools - allowing full use of your truck bed when you need it. Each board handle has a 2" x 5" opening that may assist with user-friendly setup and removal of the platform as well as provide tie-down locations for securing cargo.

Each Board is made from high-quality Bamboo or Birch with a smooth finish. All edges are rounded which gives the boards an ergonomic feel and makes the wood resistant to damage and splintering.

Compatible with all 2nd and 3rd gen Tacomas (2005-present)

Do these have "cut outs" that allow them to go around bed stiffeners (front & rear)?

Cheers for the VERY quick response.
It did look that way in all of your photos, but had to ask. The next question will be about warranty (once modified around the stiffeners)?

These are pretty bulletproof, A small notch for the bed stiffeners isn't in a high-stress location of the product and wouldn't have any significant effect on the strength of the boards. I've never seen a broken board, but there's a first for everything... If a board breaks on you I'll send you a free replacement.

Any idea if molle bed panels would interfere?

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
No doubt most would. I have both side and front CaliRaised molles and they stand out nearly an inch from the composite and run right down to the fenderwell. Most others I have seen do exactly the same. You could probably modify the molle attachment to make it work but it'll take some significant effort.

Yes it looks like most molle panels cover the bed ridge

Was this $550 yesterday and now is $450? I could have sworn I saw 550. Just curious.

When I looked the other day the add on for the extension must have been messed up because it wasn’t that cheap. Nice looking product.

You're not crazy. I just made another batch of inventory at a higher volume and was able to cut costs by doing so - so I'm passing on some savings!

Any plans or possible for making a version without the middle 4 holes so dogs won't have their paws go through easily?

Putting the finishing touches on a set that's headed to my first Canadian customer who lives north of Anchorage AK.

    Another dumb question;
I made a crude bed platform that uses 1x6’s that lay across the bed in those molded slots for added support.

Q: Do you recommend using these for your BamBed platforms?

A little bit of this, and a little bit of that.
I had the same thought, but I'll update on here once mine show up on monday. Im super excited for it, because they look awesome, but i had the same question about the rattling. im guessing even if there is some, its super easy to remedy with some foam padding and whatnot.
