    Leave the generator at home!

Reasonably confident that everyone going on this trip is self-sufficient and self-sustained...if not, you have plenty of time to get that way.

Agreed, zero desire to have a generator in camp. Not our style at all.

If you have power needs, I have full solar, AC and DC power, with tons to spare.

So we need to set a meeting area. I think Alan mentioned needles. Who all will be coming from the valley?
Also are there any particular points of interest must see's that your wanting to see.? I would like to stop at the lava tubes.

The Valero in Needles might be a good muster point...top off fuel and roll out.

The best part about this whole adventure? Right here...:bananadance:

Needles sounds good. I'm in Glendale needles is 3 1/2 hours for me. What is considered the valley? Total trip is $130 some miles so once you fuel up we shouldn't need any more fuel for the whole way correct?

I'm good for seeing whatever really easy here. I ordered a map off of Amazon and I'll look at that closely once it arrives.

its about a half a tank for me on a 1st gen with several stops and short side trips, the closest gas is prolly harvard rd a few miles south where you guys will exit I-15

i doubt you guys will have time on this trip, but just in case i would HIGHLY recommend a drive to see the Boron FAA radar station, not for the radar but for the abandoned air force base it sits on, history there, after it closed it did a stint as a prison for a while. anyway its just wide open and you can explore everything, all the buildings and housing is intact
