Guess it depends on how quickly it goes. If were done Saturday, then I think we'd have time.

I can stay out later too if somebody wants to do more exploring but doesn't want to do it alone.

I'll be re field testing my tent and stuff this weekend.
Picked up a new Exped Ultra 7R sleeping pad and ditching the old military multi bag for a Nemo 15* down bag. May still need my wool blanket to help it. I'll know more when I test this weekend in the back yard

Another test weekend in the mobile house.

Major systems function flawlessly. Time to turn attention to making it easier to organize and store things as we are living in it. It can get untidy with shoes, jackets, food items, and dirty clothing over the course of an evening/morning.

Archive Garage Hammer Hangers, Shackles, and Cross Brace arrived just before I took off for the weekend. I'll get this setup installed before Mojave as well.

    Awesome, man!!!

I'd be interested in helping out with the hangars, if you need it...on my short list of eventual mods.

Heard it's a pain, but I've had good luck working on vehicles in the past.

I'll let you know if I come up with a date/time to do them. I usually discover I have a free afternoon semi-last minute and then knock things like this out without much planning, but we shall see.

At least 5 gal of fuel is part of my standard loadout on every trip...

I don't leave things to chance in the backcountry...always expect to self rescue...you never know what can happen out there.

Looks like the lows are going to be in the 40s. That's not bad at all. Once that sun comes up it's going to be beautiful. Really starting to get excited for this trip. It's going to be beautiful all around really.

It close to 100 miles of just trail if you don't goto any of the spots off the trial just as a heads up. We used about a full tank over two days just dicking around out there. Idk if you guys have spots already planned but this is the two places we camped on our two day trip out there last year. 35.22461, -115.30229 was the first night, lots of options up there slightly more green but not by much. That coord is dropped kinda in the middle of a whole bunch of spots you can either continue up north or go west on some of the off shoots and see how they look. Second night is probably a more popular one that most people know of. 35.18139, -115.61389. Wish I could go with you guys!

Should we make min 5 gallons of fuel for each truck a requirement? I'm going to pack at least 10 myself.

Seems like a smart move to me. When my wife and I did Mojave road last year we followed the main "Mojave Road" trail and really only did one longer offshoot when we were looking for less exposed places to camp. We used just about exactly one tank of gas. Had we done more exploring, gotten worse gas mileage or just idled more then we definitely could have run out before we made it to a gas station. I had an extra 5gal with us so it wasn't a concern.

Know your truck and plan accordingly. If you run out of gas, you'll never ever live it down.

Thats on you. If your sickly fuck dont come when sick. If not, if you want to wear one. Thats fine. No one will give ya shit for doing so, your choice.
