Took mine to the diy carwash and pressure washed the heck out of it. Everything came off fairly easy. Make sure to get underneath. Even after the drive home there were still chunks on my driveshaft. It was inside my rims and brakes and everywhere you could imagine. Even inside the frame channel amd above my gas tank. Not good. But got ir off pretty well. Left remnants of it on the paint here and there. Even a good srubbing didnt make it shine. Gonna probably clay bar and wax next week to get it good again. Yours probably won't show as much though with the silver

All because I got stuck... Lol

And I would do it again. It was a choice between getting high centered or falling into a sandy wash 8ft high and getting perma-stuck.

Jim, I will always be more than happy to recover you! Shit mud or not! Even if you were perma stuck we would have figured out to get you out. I would probably bury myself to the frame and winched you out.

I'm going to strap up and do the wash late at night. I don't want the owner to hate me anymore. Hahaha plus it's 7 minutes for a buck after 11

Next time just go up thru lucerne and hit the real trails and whoops instead of bushwacking thru a wash

in the near future a small group of us will be taking the lucerne - mojave route to Vegas for a fun weekend. It's a great trail that takes less than a day to do if the group is small and we keep our speed up and photo ops down.
