    Google Camp Afton. There's a shooting area set up there. The GPS track I posted on page 2 of this thread shows it as a single track just to the left of Basin Road.

    Camp Afton would probably not be a good place to camp. Pretty rocky area it's right at the base of a mountain.

    Cutting your antenna is tuning it to specific channels you use. I've cut an old antenna but never my new antenna. I don't think you'll notice a difference being within short distance of each other.

    I checked my personal doppler radar for you... Forcast for that night is Low of 67 with 15mph winds at a WSW direction with 0% chance of rain and ~18% humidity. Sunset at 7:12PM (Just before final departure from our last meeting) with a "Waxing Gibbous" moon phase and a 0-low UV Index.
