I have molle pouches mounted behind my seat covers. I am skeptical of their utility. Molle pouches are great, but they are a pain to attach and remove.

Therefore, anything you place in them stays with your truck. For instance, I have my Gerber LMF knife mounted on mine, but I can't easily take it off and take it hiking with me. I also have one of the 12 round shotgun ammo pouches: grab shotgun out of the scabbard (which I don't have, but now I want), then grab 12 loose rounds of shotgun ammo and stuff my pockets. D'oh! Now I need a vest to attach pouches to. It never ends.

You need to double-up on all your pouches for any items you plan to take any distance from your truck.

I still haven't been able to find a pouch for a 3-D cell Maglite.

There are "pull away" pouches, where you attach the back portion to the MOLLE, then the pouch can be ripped away using velcro

Any way you could put a piano hinge, or other hinge on the bottom to mount to the floor and then make the top bolts be of a quick release variety so I could exploit the use of the space behind the panel too?
