I know what you're going through, Chris. We lost one of our dogs last year. My wife & I had gotten her before we got married 18 years ago. She really got attached to my wife while I was in Korea & it hit all of us hard when she passed away. There will be some people who don't understand how much a part of the family a pet can be. But there are alot of us who do.:pray::pray::pray:

what is it about the Molly dogs in this world?? i had a JRT named molly back a few yrs ago that was a hard headed little SH*t  but dammit i loved that little terrorizor. she had a disease too & there was no way in hell i was gonna bring her back and exchange her for a 'perfect' puppy, when this one was the perfect dog for me. what sucks though is the little biatch ran away like 7x after a dang pecan tree fell in my backyard a few Xs from all its massive limbs fallin on my fence. she'd get out and somehow i'd always get her back home until that last time she ran away the last time the day b4 my bday :( *sigh*

hell id give anything to have that little headache back... and chris, im sure molly was the perfect dog and will always be... so i half-ass feel ya... we should cherish our best lil friends as we do with our loved ones bc u never know when they are gonna run away, get stolen, pass on or worse... so, i hope u enjoyed my stupid story bc i really didnt wanna go into anything sappy :D. but on a more serious note... that sucks to hear chris, hope u guys give her more than enough hugs & kisses to make her feel like the happiest & most loved dog in the world!!

Chris, remember I once posted a quote about the rainbow bridge, it's a sappy poem about a person and their dog. Well it wasn't so sappy when my dog passed because of kidney failure and you sent me a responce, I feel for you, I really do. I am not afraid to tell you I cried like a baby when my dog was gone, but this forum and the people on it made me feel so much better, and I told you when it happens my dog would be there to look after Molly, like she looked after me. Rest easy my friend, we, as pet owners know the ultimate decision to their well being lies in our hands, and you gave her some good years, and you can be at peace with that knowledge. From one dog lover to another, make her happy, and remember the good times, because she loves you just as much as you love her. You will meet again.
