Oh Chris! I'm so sorry. Molly will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. I know that Mikey and Eddie will look out for her; in fact, they all running and playing, happy and healthy and without pain right now. Bright Blessings to both you and Julie.

    Chris,
I have never talked with you but you have my sincerest condolences. It is amazing how an animal can weave its way into your heart when they are with us for such a short time.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

:( Molly no longer feels any pain, I believe your pets will be with you in heaven. Is it biblical? The bible does not address it one way or the other but I do believe when it comes to our Lords creatures that he blesses you on with on earth, he will bless you with again in heaven. So as I see it, she has her new pain free body and is chasing some UPS man on a street of gold. Molly lived a full and happy life making you and Julie happy, from what I have read over the last year that I have been on TW, she was very very good at that. She also made a number of members happy through your stories. As I was writing this I recalled the time I altered your signature “chris 4x4” to “molly 4x4” when she had her surgery awhile back, I remember having having to choke back a few tears of my own, both tears of sadness of the unknown and tears of joy as things looked like they were going much better than we all thought. Chris and Julie, my heart goes out to you.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Chris. I've never owned a dog before, but I have a profound respect for them regardless, and reading about your loss almost brought tears to my eyes.

I'm sure Molly is happily 4x4ing away in heaven in her own Doggie Tacoma.

I'd also like to add that whenever you've helped me out around the forum and shared your knowledge with us, I always look at your avatar and not your username, and it feels like I'm being helped by a dog. Which is awesome.

So I will always remember Molly as the ubersmart dog who patiently helped me through my truck troubles.

    Good girl.

So sorry to hear this :(....Molly will always be watching over you and Julie. I'm glad she went while at home with her family and in her sleep without any pain, I'm hoping for the same for my old pup as his time is coming soon. I'm sure Molly will be waiting to meet him. Your Molly stories always remind me of my Chubby, so I'm sure they will be best buddies. I hope you and Julie will consider saving the life of another pup who needs people like you.
