So my wife has been complaining about me spending money on my new Tacoma, we all know she will never understand. So she says that there is no one on here that has spent more money than me. I totally disagree, most of my mods are accessories and I have seen some pretty sick trucks on here. So if anyone dosent care about numbers so I can prove it to her that would be great. Im sure most of you would not want your wives or husbands to know what you have spent so I will keep it to myself. Thanks for your cooperation and for shutting my lovely but big mouth wife.

I have not spent money on mods. why waste money on something that just depreciates. why not invest your extra money :)

Over the last year I spent $400. IF spending money makes you feel good then I don't think it's a waste of money.

    I just dropped 1.2k at All-Pro.

Which means a future $800 on some OME 3" lift action.

Which means some 285 AT or MT's in the future...

Which also means I want some spidertrax... (screw all the haters)

Also, I wanna do some audio stuff...

    And I still wanna trade for a 4x4 :p

One way around it is to sell stuff on ebay, build up your paypal account, then buy truck stuff with paypal. It's like a secret account.

Can't take it with you. There's no point in earning it and not enjoying it. Now, people need to save enough to be financially secure, prepared for retirement, and out of debt, but that doesn't mean they can't use disposable income for fun. Most of the US just buries their head in the sand about disposable income they actually have - and use credit unwisely to make up the difference between that and what they'd like to have.

    Anyway, to the OP:

Quite a bit, and more all the time.

Why buy a Tacoma? Should have bought a $1000 beater...

I have about $3k total into mine...I could easily drop another $3k into to it to have it "perfect"
