Yea I had been up a couple years ago when we were camped on the Boulder and I saw it on the map it was a lot further than I thought then turned around because of lack of time. We had 3 4 wheelers and three Toyotas that wanted to go somewhere for the weekend so we gave it a shot, cant imagine it will be more than a few weeks before you can get up there.

x2 we were all pretty whipped by the time we got back to camp...

I want to say that it took us 6 or 7 hours round trip from the end of the maintained road...and we had to keep stopping because some people on ATV's in front of us kept breaking down. Other than that we kept up a good pace.

And that's why I'm not going to Lander

Does your route include the gravellies? Or perhaps going into ID across Lemhi, the old Lewis & Clark route?[/QUOTE]

Now THAT, I would really try to make it to :headbang:

I think that trip is on hold for this year - with the timing of the WY meet I don't think I'll be able to take the time off of work as that would mean two big trips in less than 3 weeks since the best time for the trip would be in July :(

Just didnt have any interest over the winter. And now summer is here, but I am getting married July 6th and then we have 4 other weddings to go to in Washington and Minnesota. And I build for a living. And I bartend at the brewery a lot of weekends, so most of my summer is already shot.

Sounds like you have a busy summer ahead of you! And no time for wheeling trips either!

:woot: I think you should wash and wax Frank before the big trip

 Welcome! I'm sure I've seen you around...too many Tacomas in this town to keep track of though. Keep an eye out for a white 1st gen with pink decals
