Hello I am trying to type it
Great Drive. Driving to Blue lake and hiking to the top of Monument Peak is recommended.

If you can live without the front window to the cab I'd give Big Sky Toppers(Century dealer but Century=Leer and are identical in construction) a call and see if they can swap out the side and back doors for windoors. At that price even if it's a couple hundred per window you're still at half the price of new.

Edit: New Leer 180s with vented windoors are $2,000+ around here but if you prefer the standard sliders then it doesn't make as much sense, those start at $1,799 from Ressler or $1649(Century) from Big Sky Toppers

Yeah I've priced out new ones. What I want will cost me $2,200 new. I'm still conflicted on doing a topper or doing a proper bed rack system instead (Bruteforce Fab Bed Cage). If it had windows and was $450 I'd jump all over it. By the time you buy replacement windows, door, labor, seals, etc.... it just all adds up again I'm sure. And it's not even new.

I wouldn't fuck with it. I like side windows for air circulation when sleeping in it and the rear window for seeing through while driving.

Yeah I don't wanna rig something. I want easy.

I saw a white Tacoma here in town, 2005 I think, with a white Leer with the high rise window. It looked nice. He had a bed platform - and said the high rise cab made a huge difference for him.

So if I get a topper I'm not wondering if I should do a high rise instead of cab height. I like the stream lined cab height look though. Haha

I agree that cab high looks SOOOO much better. I spent a summer living in a cab high when I lived in Summit County, Colorado - in my Nissan. It's better for carrying boats and other long shit too.

I sleep in mine quite a bit though. That's why I have a high rise. I wouldn't go back to cab high, ever, unless I stop sleeping in the topper.

If anyone is looking for a deal on 5100s, I have my take offs. They're fully assembled, set at 1.75" and I have a spacer on the one from the driver side. The coils have 75K on them, but the struts have 30K. It might be a good reason to drive up and see Glacier Nat'l Park, or I could probably meet somewhere in the middle. PM me if interested.

The new (month old) topper for my ride was about $2000 from Ressler with windoors.

Any Hamilton area Tacos out there?!?! Hope you're all safe and not around the Roaring Lion fire. Was camping around the Skalkaho area earlier today when the smoke started to settle in...didn't know where it was coming from at first.

Anyone in the PDX area looking to sell a canopy for a 1st gen Xtracab? I'm looking for either a Leer or ARE with sliding side windows and possibly roof tracks (doesn't have to have the bars, but the tracks installed would be nice) I have a silver truck, but would take something off color if the price is right. I won't low ball you, just trying to find something, craigslist hasn't had anything for a while now.
