    I am currently a Belgradian.

If you're looking at changing out your suspension give YotaDan at Wheelers a call. He was easy to deal with and was pretty fair with everything. Of course I went with the full package - 5-pack Alcans, OME 881's, Bilstein 5100's and every nut, bolt, shackle and bushing available. Probably overkill...oh, well. Now I have to track down my mechanic, he's been MIA for the week.

And I would recommend ordering your 5100's now...a worldwide shortage (maybe not for 2nd gens) has left many a Taco owner frustrated. Took almost 3 extra weeks for mine to come in and I was on a waiting list! I ordered everything the first of May and have had the rest of the parts laying around gathering dust since then.

So are you doing lift? if so how much?

Reluctantly yes. Didn't want a lift at first but I wanted the heavier 5-pack leaf springs so I will get about 2" out of them and will probably set the front Billies at the mid setting to get just a mild rake. Considering how worn out my current springs are I think I'm actually below stock height now so it will seem like more than a 2" lift when all the parts are installed.

It's mine! All mine! Trust me, this is very much needed on my truck. I almost hate driving it right now, way too rough!

I think I've got everyone beat out for the award for worn out suspension. Should be all gone in a week or so. Yeah!
Talk to Wheeler's - they've been great to deal with so far.

Did you have to kick in the 4wd today to get around in the snow over there?

Nah, but speaking of that... The wind was worse than anything! When I got off of work today at 2 I went up the Wise River road and up toward Elkhorn HS. I made it all the way there, the road is clear, but up on top there is still about 1.5 feet of snow off of the road.

my folks were up there fishing this last weekend - they said it was clearing up nicely. total destruction though in the campgrounds from the beetle kill - or have the crews been hard at work cleaning things up?

I didn't really look... But there was a crew I passed by when I was on my way up so I assume there are picking up the mess... Don't take my word for it though

I'll get to see for myself soon enough I suppose. Thought I would be doing a roadtrip over that way this weekend but now I'm not so sure...mom and dad both have a bad cold/flu bug and I'm staying away! I'm sure I won't have any trouble finding someplace else to go.

hey anyone looking for a job check out mtcorps.org . im not all that educated about it, it might be for teenegers for the most part but they emailed me saying they want to get an all veteran crew going if that applys to anyone here. there will be a group of us camping in the forests all over montana for about a week at a time. land preservation and stuff like that. i wonder if they would let our 4wheel club or whoever volunteer some time if anyone is interested.

You missed a good drive today Colton - once I got out of Anaconda there was no snow. Made it further than I thought I would up Copper Creek and the road was in great shape. Saw some elk, deer and a bear...which scared the crap out of me. I had just gotten back in the truck after taking some pictures, drove a hundred yards down the road and there was a young brown (I think) bear standing next to the road. Not sure how long he had been there or where he came from...So I spent the rest of the day packing my pepper spray around and repeating the manta "always be aware of your surroundings".

So I now admit that I am addicted to my truck..Is anyone still interested in having a mod day, I know we talked about it at the meet but never really discussed any kind of date. So anyone in?
