Made it to St. Paul last night; been up since 0500 watching the west bound weather. Ugh.

Going to have another cup of coffee and contemplate my plan for the day some more, looks like crap in W. Minnesota, North Dakota.

    Anywho..

Going to be in Bozeman hopefully tonight, then Missoula for Friday.

Anyone feel like meeting up and doing a trail run?

Monte, I know I texted you about maybe meeting up a few weeks ago.. unfortunately, don't think I'll have the time to shoot down to WY.

A natural avalanche hit Highway 287 near Quake Lake on Saturday afternoon. Luckily the driver of this truck was missed. In the picture he tries to climb his Chevy through the debris with a pose worthy of a truck commercial. Photo: B. Beck

    RICH! :angrygirl: hi

Question: is the road to the Comet mine/ghost town drive-able in the winter? it looks like there's a few (occupied) houses back there too so I would think so...been bored at work and cruising around google earth looking for new places to visit.

Lol glad you understand. Do you know anyone from Butte who had an old blue one? I find it hard to believe that they wouldnt be a member of the jeep club.

I know of an old blue one that was in town, this one looks almost identical, jsut different wheels/tires, so im wondering if its the same one.

YES...the road is always open and passable to the town itself. An easy drive. Not much usable trail beyond that in the winter though.

Ok, just to be picky, we are not JEEP clubs. We are 4x4 clubs, all brands are welcome. lol (cough)

ANYWAY....I assume you mean that '86 Comanche with the 7 " lift?? I do not know anyone in the Butte club with a Jeep PU other than Joe and his is not for sale. Brian B. had one for a short time but sold it at least a year ago and that is not his old one.

Sorry, I will keep an ear out for any info though.

Hey everybody. My bill to transport our vehicles to MT just got more expensive, but I'm happy to be bringing my new toy up there with us! Does anybody know of any other FJ40's in western MT? I'm also going to looking for some reasonable body work in the area. I am not planning a full restoration, but I need to get this rust out and patched back up before I do anything else. It's not too bad, but bad enough. Thanks for the input!
