Lol Sorry Rich is apart of a great 4x4 club(that is prejudice against toyotas).

Yea that would be the one, Im almost positive its one that has been around town for a long time. Am I correct in saying that the standard transmission in those years were weak and that the auto was the better tranny?

oUCH...THAT HURTS!! And it is just not true. I have let Toyota people in my house and even to use my bathroom. Good lord...I even ate with one once.

I honestly don't know enough about those particular models so I wouldn't give my advice to much credence. However, I would go for the auto given the choice.

You might be able to get better answers at http://comancheclub.com/index hope it is ok I posted that here.

Hahaha well then your pretty much family now.

And yea i have been doing a little digging. I really would rather the manual, but it seems the auto has a far better reputation. Would get burned at the stake if I ever go test drive it I feel(lisa is watching)

AWD, no turbo. VR6 engine(3.2v6, but at like 15(or 30..cant remember) degree so practically inline)

    DSG transmission

I thought I was gonna get a wrx, but the insurance is so stupid. And hontestly... I like the a3 more. It ma not be as fast but ive driven them both and it feels quicker and handles way better.
