I've seen that one around too. Not sure I like it but I guess they had their reasons for wanting to do it.

I got friends there so let me know, they could help you find a place and get you in touch with some locals. Minot is more preferable I think but the dive has access to some good finishing.

Even I have been there lol

OK guys and gal. I guess I have decided that I am going to keep the 96 single cab taco from my buddy. So now the adventure starts. I just got back from Vegas for the last week today. I was out checking the truck over and I thought it was the 2.4 4 cylinder but it is actually the 2.. SO I guess that is better??? My first series of questions has to do with under the hood. I see a chit ton of vacuum hoses. Usually I am good with just leaving well enough alone. Should I do that or is there a mod for removinig all the lines and sensors? A couple of the lines I noticed tonight have dry rotted and werent really doing any good. So for the heck of it I removed the wires from the Evap PBD pressure switching valve and the Evap OBD Pressure sensor and PWM vacuum switching valve. After removnig the 3 of these it made no difference in running idle. I cracked the throttle a few times and seemed ok. So can I remove this whole mess of sensors and vacuum hoses? Am I wrong thinking this is mainly for a venting the fuel tank??? Or just leave well enough alone????

I tried searching the site but didnt come up with anything at all. Thank you all for the help.

    It's the 2.7 you mean? Should be if it's 4wd. 3rz.

Replacing old bad lines is never bad. Just do them one at a time and you'll be fine.

YUP 2.7 Dang fingers don't work as well as my brain, kinda. Ok I was told it was the smaller 4 cyl. I will work on replacing the vacuum lines then. I just wasn't sure if pulling them all and blocking the ends was good or not. So I will replace the ones that are bad. Thank you Monte

    If it's a 3rz it's the 2.7. Nice motor.

Now you gotta mod the taco haha

HAHA YUP thats the plan. For the time being I have about 5 weeks until the Ol' Farts Oreidavadah 2015 ride. I am hoping to make that. Hopefully work does not get in the way. But I was warned I may need to be around that week. We will see.

I hope to have dual batteries, build front and rear bumpers, another pair of sliders, 4 inch lift rear and 2 inch front lift, move my storage box to the 96, trim my overhead rack down to fit, switch my CB and 2 meter over, mount some lights on the front and sides, Switch my tires over, Run wires for a winch. My plan for the moment is to build a receiver hitch in the bumpers front and rear. So I can put the winch in a cradle and run it either front or rear, maybe. And the list goes on...... Yup the plan is to get started on the mods. Right after all of my honey does

Yea the 2.7 is a fine little motor.

Hell being as close as you are to Victor, talk to them about some package deals for anything your looking at getting. Save you money on shipping. If I was going to be around this summer I would say we could build ya some here in Butte.

Good deal on holding onto it, now you can make it a dedicated offroad truck and save your older one for DD.

This truck was last seen in Helena, MT on saturday. I won't go into detail, but if anyone sees it, please text me. I know there are lots of people looking for it. When I was contacted to provide pictures of it I was informed that the police are involved and that if I knew of any way to spread the word quickly about finding the truck, to do so. I immediately thought of TW. I was contacted because the owner sent me these pictures two weeks ago to show me the bumpers he had just installed. So they are the most current pics of the truck. Also I now have a set of OME springs coming for the rear of the truck. Although I would love to be able to sell the springs to him, I am more worried about just finding the truck and everything being intact and ok. Thank you TW. I know that if it is to be found, we will see it. [IMG]<br/>
