    Even Polson has grown in that area. Which makes me glad because it was a dying down but its ridiculous what the prices for houses has done.

    It's insane. Columbia Falls prices are high, and Hungry Horse is even on the rise. Anything in the area that is a reasonable price isn't fit to be lived in.

    Just got an offer excepted on a house here in Missoula, our market is stupid! And the cost of houses here are nuts... But I'm tired of paying rent so i antied up..

    Shoot, I know folks who tell me 19th was a dirt road and ended at Durston in that short strip of 25mph zone (who wants to live on 19th btw??).

    Not to mention MSU campus used to be "south of town" and everything south of it was ranch/horse fields.

    I was shocked at house prices up there. You get 3x the house for the same money here.

    Yep! We don't have "Affordable Housing" here in the Bozeman area. Although our City Commission is working diligently to fix that problem (i.e. telling home builders to cut profit margins, modern row houses, multifamily dwellings, etc).

    Beautiful place to live though if you can afford it! :)

    LOL!

    It's kind of a double edged sword. Out of state folks with money come in and drive prices up... but they also bring money that is helping growth and economy. Although growth isn't necessarily what long time Montanans want either.
