I came from a more conservative state. Expected the cowboy, rancher state of Montana to be more masculine than it is.

Yes, I live in left leaning Bozeman area. Yes, everyone I know gets to hear about it. LoL it is a sacrifice to live in a beautiful place though. And be near my kids!

Anyone here own the quicksand 3rd gen with the topper and black stripe? Noticed it around town a few times. One of the nicer looking turds I've seen

    Southerner from Georgia here...

I am about to embark on a 2 week trip to South Dakota and Montana! First time in these 2 states for me.

While in Montana, we will be around Butte and Missoula, exploring, wheeling and camping.

Does anyone have any suggestions for "must see" places? I'm not asking anyone to give away their secret spot, just some general ideas. I do have Willie Worthy's guide book, which seems to be full of great information.

Also, if anyone is interested in meeting up and/or wheeling/camping with us, you are more than welcome. Always great to meet other TWers, especially on the other side of the country!

    Thanks in advance!

Most of the trails I used to explore around Butte and missoula were just random trails we found. Not sure of any real names honestly Lisa will be able to give you better info.
