Thats the most sense anyone has made in explaining this to me..well besides lisa maybe a little lol. If im buying new rims Ill probably go with the 16s just because they will look better IMO. Do the stock 16s not have an offset either?

o and my ultimate lift just got here...gonna probably take it to the shop this week or the weekend I hope. Unless Colton still thinks we can take it on?

so I helped? really? yeah me!

if youre doing the install yourself...well, #1 don't trust Colton ;)...#2 go get a giant can of PB Blaster and soak your entire truck in it for a few days. That saved me a ton of headaches when I did my truck. and #3 what all did you get? all new nuts and bolts too?

Lol it was his idea, he texted me asking which shop and said maybe we could..so I dunno hes been alright so far..I got a couple other buddies who would help too(dunno whether that would be a plus or not lol).

And I got everything that comes in the Ultimate lift..AKA
    5100 Shocks,
    coils, spring retainers,
    upper mounts,
bolts, nuts, washers, studs, spanner wrenchs..
diff drop-list of bolts n such for that,
AAL- antifriction pads, bolts nuts such,
    rear5125 shocks,
and a brake proportioning valve bracket kit(which i didnt know came with) and all its good stuff.

Thats what my little reciept says.

    lift cost-999
    minus discount plus shipping
    1015.04 total

I basically got free shipping with the discount.

no advise on the front end as I had a shop do my front end work - big mistake! Long story there...

For the rear end the biggest pain was getting the main eye bolts on the leaf packs to break free. those damn things were welded in place with rust but I think the PB blaster did help a lot. and take your spare tire off for a little more elbow room  seems simple enough but it took us (my mechanic friend and I) a while to realize that.

Lol I know exactly what your talking about on the bolt in the rear. I have helped a friend put AAL on his 92 yota and us three strong young men:cool: couldnt get it moving..took his 50year old dad, an oxy torch, and five minutes to get it off.

PB blaster and air ratchets will be your best friends during a toyota suspension swap  a couple of the guys who were in the leaf spring group buy with me ended up cutting their bolts off as well. mine came off with a little work but were still the worst part of the job.

rear end was easy enough to do, pretty straight forward. just make sure you have all of the misc. parts before you start because there is no where in this state to get any of it!
