The little belts is what you seek, look up Divide road on the forest service map. You can head east towards Belt and turn right at the Centerville/Stockett/Highwood intersection (about six miles from east end of town, flashing light at intersection). You will come to a Y in the road at the Tracy Bar stay left and go through Centerville and Stockett about three or four miles past Stockettt there is Evans Riceville road. Take a left on that road,go until you get to a T in the road and turn right. About two miles on that road and you hit US forest boundary keep going on that road and take the next available right turn onto logging creek Rd. You can then follow that road all the way to Showdown Ski area and the highway that you can take back to Belt/Great Falls (left turn). I am actually headed up to Niehart (located about seven miles north of Showdown Ski area) early tomorrow morning, I have to do some work at our cabin and then hopefully take a ride on the atv's.

Ive heard of Miners lake but wasn't sure I could get our trailer up there? Think it's possible?
Ringing rocks and Bannack are definitely on the list, do you know if we can camp with the trailer at Bannack?
Not sure how long we'll be in the Big Hole/Ruby/Centennial valleys as they are relatively close together. Guessing maybe 2-3 nights max.
Any good places to eat you'd recommend? I'm not going to lie, the bulk of this trip is centered around several craft breweries we have yet to visit (after all, we're not REALLY camping)!

Bannack has 2 campgrounds and you can reserve some on the spots. Check out the MT state parks site.
My parents got their 27' trailer up to miners last year. Shouldn't be an issue for your rig.

Oh, and the Quartz Hill road outside of Dewey has a ton of camping too

Don't forget Willy's Distillery in Ennis.
And I don't eat out all that much so not sure I could help much in that arwa

Went up there this weekend on the ATV's,you can make it most of the way with a truck but there is one section that gets really narrow and is almost straight down on one side for about 1/4 mile. I have taken it with my 89 and 96 Yota's and it was a starfish puckering stretch, not sure I would want to try with the wider gen 2 or 3

I was talking about the amount of bear grass. She showed me photos on her camera. TONS of the stuff. Like fields of it.

So did it center around Lincoln?

    Did Yellowstone blow up yet?
