Shes got a Buick Enclave (unsure of year). She likes the newer style, I think 15+ she wants. She is stuck on getting a 3rd row seat for some weird reason. She still has to drive one and isn't in a rush. She likes the highlander too.

Honestly a highlander is more practical for her, but I think a 4runner would be better because, well ya lol.

Maybe she's planning on needing space for some grandkids :boink:
Runner has been awesome for me. Dont regret the switch at all. Would a Runner be too high for her - the getting in and out part? I would think gas mileage would be comparable. Ride comfort - maybe a little different than she's used to but comfy all the same.

Hahaha well since she already has 4 from my brother, and I am freshly single, I don't see any new ones coming anytime soon.

That is the part I think she is on, she likes sitting higher up, always had suburbans and such. The Highlander would have better mileage and be easier to get into, 4runner gives the hieght and possibly more space.

:pout: sorry to hear that Macaroni!
Hopefully mom can drive both and see what she thinks. Couple things I was surprised about Runner is that I have minimal blind spots - visibility is great. And he's pretty peppy on the interstate when I need him to be - considering the engine size vs vehicle size so there's plenty of power.

Appreciate it, things happen, sucks but life moves on and thats the outlook I am trying to keep. Take it day by day.

Yea She pretty much just has to. That is surprising about the blind spots, my 4th gen had some I noticed. I know they still all have the 4.0, so I know the reliability and mpg to be expected. Not sure details on the highlander.

I would be lying if I wasn't biased to get her to get the 4runner knowing one day I could buy it form her lol.

Haha I do but they didn't come out well. I'll have to take the wife's camera next time and get some quality pictures instead of cell phone pics

Montana peeps! What's a good spot to hang out and chill for a little while?

I am currently in Thompson Falls... A bit warm. Was in Glacier yesterday, would've hung out there longer but the distance to dispersed camping wasn't worth the driving every day.

I'd like to find a campsite on a paddle board friendly river that's free...NF area. Cell service would be great since i need to catch up on some stuff including my trip thread and some trail stuff. I'm killing time until possibly running the Morrison Trail the last weekend of this month... If it opens. Missoula looks cool... I should've driven there instead of driving out this way.

I'd like to get the Magruder in before the Morrison Trail as well.

Magruder is open as of 7/7. Surprised that they opened it this early. Lemme know if you need directions to find it

Thanks. I'll be running it west to east. I have some old 4x4 book that has it in there i just realized this morning. If anyone has any neat trips in the area and don't mind an extra one tagging along, I'm up... As long as it's not rock crawling stuff.

Although I'm debating on swapping out the indel b tb51 for a dual fridge/freezer, so that may kill some time depending on the email response i get tomorrow. :anonymous:

You give me fridge, I give you trail info :quickdraw:

But seriously, ill get you some directions for the elk city side of magruder. That town has a definite red neck, sitting on the front porch with a shotgun sorta vibe. Don't want to take a wrong turn there!

Oh sounds interesting! Maybe I will need to pay attention to where I'm going.

I'm in coeur dalene right now, doing some errands and seeing if anyone has a fridge freezer up in this hood.... Not looking like it.
