No, the original desert grabbers. I was looking at cooper st maxxs too but on 35's they only make D rated 35s. May end up with bfg k02s. I'e ran them 3 different times on other trucks and were great.

Thanks. Except for the construction between Harper Puckett and Ferguson, Baxter was in better shape than usual probably due to the opening of Oak & Davis. Looking a set of 18"x8.5" six lug 2014+ Chevy PU/SUV rims. Any suggestions?

I just got back from driving 130 miles of dirt road to hunt the country around Spotted Bear. It was chilly, but beautiful. The 15 miles of pavement on the way home were scary.

This is why I usually get tires in August/September if I need them or think I need them.

Snow at the edge of my driveway this morning. 30-36 hours of winter so far.

    20171104_090714.jpg

And... I drove 23mph ALL the way from Belgrade to Bozeman behind a ditz in a brand new Tahoe who was afraid of winter.

90 minutes later and my snow is shoveled. I'd still be out there but my neighbor took pity on me and brought his snow blower over to help with the last 1/3. #damselindistress

Whats wrong with D rated tires?? I love my C rated 35s. Wish my 255s were c rated. They are E, but I have been liking the maxx's in the snow once i let a little air out.

Roads down here have sucked. but been able to go 45mph usually on the crap. We have just over a foot in places. Last night the highway was actually dry. Hopefully be good for the drive home tonight.

Nothing wrong with D rated tires. Just like having a thicker ply sidewall

Wouldn't worry about it. In fact, they ride nicer. Especially offroading when aired down.

True, I might tinker with the idea of D rated. Driving at midnight wasn't fun last night with these grabbers. Usually I love driving in the snow but also all the new electronics in these trucks suck. If you turn off traction control it still kicks in when wheels spin and the dash lights up. I honestly miss my first gen 4runner with no abs or electronics to freak on when spinning tires

Wow you can't kill the TC on that thing? that sucks.

Ive had to drive from fishtail to Red lodge every day for work. Been fine for me in my 1st gen. Some of the Ice build up is intense though haha wheel wheels up front have like 1/2'' of clearance.

But honestly the difference from an E to D isn't huge anyways. Not like a C to E anyways.

I was actually thinking of just buying some Cooper M+S in 265s to put on my old stock 16s. Only 400is for 4. Be good for the winter at least. Of course if i buy them it'll be 50º and sunny again..
