    I wish I went that far into the Rubicon. Only went about halfways but would have made the day trip really long. Was still a good shakedown for what my turd can do.

    So APPARENTLY when I and a friend changed my serpentine belt we did not seat it correctly OR something else is going on... because I went to start Jackson this afternoon and it smells like fuel and the belt is fraying and visibly not seated correctly. Tomorrow will be a field trip to Napa for two belts (in the event that another is eaten up). Just weird that this is the first I'm seeing of this when it was replaced months ago...

    Sounds like the tensioner is bad possibly. I'd use an oem one if it is and especially if you replaced it with a parts store one

    Not sure, tonight was take it easy pizza and beer night with @Pigpen... he's giving up snowboarding tomorrow to help me see if I'll eat through another belt or see if it was just seated wrong... or whatever it is
