Ok Colton, is it possible to lift the front of my truck anymore than it is without having to do anything with my CVs?

Because he was unable to participate in TW activities yesterday

I've seen a couple of silver 2nd gens around here too that I want to track down the owners...lots of mods on the trucks so I figured they'd fit in here pretty well. One of them looks like he's ready for armageddon...front and rear bumpers, lights, winch, hi lift, gerry cans, roof cargo rack, lifted, snorkel...

I mean, right now as you are sitting, there is still more than stock stress on your CVs... The only way I know of to get more lift than you have while retaining the angles of your CVs or even making them better would be a Drop-Bracket Lift. I really wish there was like a 1-2" DB lift, because then someone could get about 5" of lift that is primarily a suspension lift and so you wouldn't lose the performance offroad. I am still torn as to which direction I am going to go with my truck even. I have heard from many sources that the DB lifts ride like stock but they lose a lot of performance offroad. The 3" susp lifts give you much better performance offroad, but they play hell on your CVs, and for some people, it just isn't enough lift! So... this is kind of a tough question. If I have to give a 1 word answer, I would have to say No.

That is the answer I thought I was going to get..Here is another one for you. My next mod on my truck is going to be exhaust and i have talked with the local exhaust shop and i have an estimate to increase the size, take out the cats and install a high flow muffiler. My question is If I take out both cats and install a O2 simulator do I still need to run my front O2 sensor or will the simulator take care of both?

I can't remember if the First Gens are the same as the second gens as far as exhaust goes... But let's just say they are for now. On my rig, there are 2 O2 sensors in my exhaust system. Both of them are directly after my front cats. There are NO O2 sensors after the rear cats, unlike many people like to think. Wherever you have O2 sensors, if you completely open up your exhaust, you will need a simulator for each sensor. I am not sure the simulator you are getting though. Like if and when I get the Long Tubes for my truck, I will buy a dual O2 sim, which takes care of both of mine. It all depends on the sim you get, but you will need one for every sensor. Hope that helps... Also, are you planning on supercharging soon? You know the +/- of opening up the exhaust all the way through I assume...?

So you think I will need two of these?http://www.urdusa.com/Electronics-R...t_info.html?osCsid=q4v57u3i1lh82k3lphejmjn953
And the supercharger is going to have to wait since I decided I needed a snowmoble instead..Just trying to take care of the cheaper mods right now.
