Man that sucks. Sorry to hear that! I did something similar about 3 months after I had bought my tacoma. pulling out of a coffee shop parking lot in billings. was worried about getting out of another car's way and turned too sharp. dragged half of my rocker panel over a landscaping boulder in the parking lot. Not nearly as much damage as yours, but man I felt stupid when it happened.

Me neither. Need to hit the range and make sure the rifle is still zero’d. Looks like this year I’m getting on some private land. My neighbors dad has a ranch that he’s lettin some of us on this year. Hopefully we turn up something.

No bow hunting this year, got a new recurve and didn't get to practice enough to feel confidant but I'll be ready next year.

Recurve... Savage. Theyre awesome to shoot, but I'm hard pressed to say I really trust myself with one.

I have no bow hunting experience, but I’m really thinking about buying a recurve now for my daughter and I. I just think it would be fun

Convinced my wife today to build a diy foxtail trailer. Going to start collecting materials now, and pull the trigger on a 6x8 utility trailer in February. Hopefully about a month or so of building will have it finished before summer!

They are fun to shoot and you don't have to have a release, sights, and bunch of other crap. If you look around used one's are pretty reasonable, just don't get one that has too much draw weight and have fun.

I broke down and got a Schafer silvertip, very smooth and the quality is excellent.

Cut & broke off some stuff.
no hunting but I got in some good fishing while the other people were out hunting.
Had to come back to TN though, sadly.

When do the rivers up there begin to calm from spring snow melt to do some fishing?
I've only ever been to MT around this time of year when it's not an issue. But, wife & kids want to drive up next year in spring or summer for some hiking/camping/fishing.

EarlyJune, fathers day for sure. Unless its a weird spring like this year and it rains constantly until July. Everything was pretty high and murky for a long time this year.
