I hope you can get all the air and moisture out of your lines and cylinders.

I've got a local buddy who may help me sometime soon (hopefully) pull the rear drums off to see if there's a hidden leak in there. I got the reservoir filled up today. After putting 20+ miles on the truck I see no loss. So if there is a leak it's really slow. Going to keep an eye on it.

But yeah. To be safe it probably needs to be bled entirely. Need to get my transmission done (almost 49k miles) and wouldn't hurt to do a coolant job too. All original.

Spent about 45 minutes today scraping vinyl decals off my truck so I'm no longer advertising for a company that isn't in business anymore.

    20181129_141159.jpg

Really thought about keeping these on there though. I thought it would be funny. But then the OCD kicked in and I realized both sides would look different. So it all came off.

Finally brought my 4runner back from California. It's been 8 years away from this beauty. So happy to have her back.

The whole ordeal was a blunt surprise to me that's for sure.

Had a decal on my front bumper. Window on the back of my topper. And both front doors. Took a while but they're all gone now.

Might wanna get extended brake lines and new rear brake cylinders (autozone has them and they’re pretty cheap) while you’re at it. With the right tools, covered/heated garage and this forum it didn’t take me very long.

Are...you trying to defend a company that took thousands of preorders for new products..then vanished into thin air with no warning and did not pay anything back?

Did you read the two threads?

My name is listed in the chapter 7 filing as a creditor along with hundreds of other customers. That was a creative step by the owners at the direction of legal counsel no doubt. I had over $4000 in orders and was strung along for months that the products were coming, even up until two weeks out from the company filing (I have emails). They knew they were in serious trouble months before that but just kept taking orders. I was fortunate to get my money back through disputes with PayPal. If I had paid them cash/check directly in person, which I almost did, then I would have got nothing back.

Question for you is are you asking because you really don’t know about this happening or are you just trying to stir sh*t up? If the Pelfrey’s are friends of yours you don’t need to defend them. Their actions are inexcusable.

    Yes.
A fifty some page bankruptcy filing with hundreds of customers listed who paid and never got anything in return. Telling customers to pay cash up front and were left with no recourse. Dates on the bankruptcy paperwork prove that they knew the ship was sinking but they were still posting here, telling everyone not to worry and were still taking new orders and more money from people knowing fully that they would never be able to give those people any product.

What was the third day for Dan, Mike and I was actually the day we'd meet Zane and Monte for the official start of the trip. We were up early with a lot of miles to cover - and some great stops along the way - before we'd arrive in Cooke City at our designated meeting time of 5pm.

The question on all of our minds - when would Monte show up?

Read all of day 3 and check out the photos:

--- catch up on the whole story so far ---
