...Our stomachs satisfied for the moment, we continued down the mountain - only a single planned overlook between us and the bottom, our road spitting us out near the confluence of the Bighorn and Devil's Canyons which we could already see in the distance... it was at this overlook that tragedy struck. (Tragedy is perhaps a bit strong a word to use in this case, but what unfolded was definitely a bummer...)

Anybody good with a welder in the Bozeman area? Or know of a good place to get a Body mount chop?
    Thanks.

Anyone have their truck re-geared in Montana? I’ve been toying with going to 4.88’s. I think there is a shop in Bozeman. Any recommendations?

Just make sure they know wtf they are doing. Toyota diffs are very finicky and sensitive. So if they don't do a lot of Toyota stuff hopefully they have a warranty

That’s my big concern. Not sure if the one in Bozeman specializes in any particular make. I just saw they advertise Nitro gear installs.

I would just bite the bullet and get complete diff from east coast gear supply. What size tire do you plan on running?

    I’m debating on 33 or 34. Haven’t picked a tire either.

488s and 33-34 should be perfect. I'm running 488s on my 315s and it's still not enough for the mountain driving up here. I wish I had 529s

Can’t wait to get some 285/75/17’s onto the Lexus! Thinking Cooper at3 xlt. Hopefully there will be reviews I can look at before it’s time to buy them in the summer

Anyone in the Billings area down to do a meet and greet? I want to meet some fellow taco owners out here

I've got 4.56 gears. On my 3rd or 4th rear end.

Find a good shop. They either set it right, or they don't.

I will say that East Coast Gear Supply takes care of their customers! You just need someone competent to do your install.
