I am a day late and a dollar short but yes, I have been up to Mckelvey and Cliff Lake (which is above Mckelvey) a number of times.

Would anyone in Billings be down for a meet up possibly in town for some drinks, or maybe hit a quick trail on the 23rd? been wanting to get a group together, just haven't had the time. I have a few 4runner guys who would be there. Im thinking if we meet in town we could meet in the old sears parking lot across from the toyota dealership!

And possibly next month date TBD we could do a meet up with everyone and meet in Big Timber? let me know what you guys think!

Edit: There is a Red Robin, and two other bars in the same lot. for those who think we should eiter get some grub or grab a drink.

I have just been hiding out...pretty damn successfully too. :) Actually, I had a medical issue or two keeping me down for a bit.

Hope all is well with you.

Looks great. Did you ditch the airbags in the rear for coils?

Has anyone else seen these caravans of 90's toyota pickups/tacmoas? I've been seeing them here and there for a few years now, just saw another today headed East on 90 around Frenchtown. They are Toyota pickups and each one is flat towing another one. Most of them have a ton of related parts in the beds too. I have seen 6 in one caravan, today I only saw 2. Always going East on 90 when I see them.

Somebody somewhere must like them. It seems weird to buy them out of the North West though, as used Toyota pickups sell for a lot of money from here West.

Yeah because 80s/90s toyotas rusted out body panels real bad. Less so in the west..generally.

Seems odd though. Some one must be stock piling! haha

I just spent a week outside Gardiner. You have some amazing taco's out there, people I met were all great and the views are some of the best I've ever seen, anywhere in the world.

I envy you guys out there and wanted to pop in and say thanks for whatever it is you all do to make Montana so wonderful, and as a visitor, being nice to wife and I! :hattip: Felt like I was back down south, but with much nicer views:)

Montana is awesome. Funny you say that, we spent the weekend at this new lodge off hwy 89 and my wife pointed out that there were 6 taco’s parked out back. Have a safe trip.

Another possibility is that they are delivering the trucks to be parted out is the areas were salt and other chemicals destroy more than just the body and frames.

That makes a lot of sense. That would explain the beds full of parts too.

    I'm good.
Hope you're back in tip top shape! Still taking the Jeep out in the hills?

I am not all back together yet. A few surgeries to go. However, life is much better since ending the chemo. And yes, I have managed to get out into the mountains a bit recently.

Glad all is well with you.
