Agreed but my wife wont let me go back. Mom just told us the other day she wants to give us her 3rd gen in a few years. Just don't know how I feel about it.

I was afraid it would be overrun with a bunch of hipsters wearing skinny jeans. Maybe some guys that read an ax throwing ad in their beard butter blog.

I dunno. I like my 3rd a lot. I would’ve been perfectly happy keeping the 2nd, but there are def features I like about this one. Also think the interior dash looks a lot better. The power argument, I don’t see at all. My 2nd actually wound up pretty high in cruise control a lot.

Find a great deal on a 2nd without 100k miles (I didn’t see that happening), or know the previous owner, go for it. Either are great trucks.

I'd take the 4.0 all day. My dad's is boosted and tweaked and it is an amazing motor.

But I'll still stick to my 1st gens. If I get another truck it'll be a gen 2 Cummins

My turd gen is for sale.... it just can't cut it anymore. I need a rig that's capable of towing my 4runner safely.

Na, I'm thinking about a raptor that I can have fun with high speed stuff and still able to tow. Since my 4runner is pretty much a crawler.
