    Yikes! An RV in winter in Billings.... Better get several long underoos.

    I left way back when on a money quest. Was in Bozeman at the time (grew up in Miles City) and cost of living was high (for MT) and wages weren't great. Left for Houston area where initial money was 50% higher and cost of living was about the same. They still keep paying me well,,, but it is Houston area.

    A little Montana on my truck still.

    My mom sold her place in Bridger Canyon. Still can’t believe they left 200 acres to move down here to San Diego…..

    At least I’ll be up to spend some time in Ft Smith and Craig next summer.

    Regrets are mostly mine as I loved hunting elk/deer on their property and having a home base to hunt ducks/geese/pheasant, and flyfish when I came up. Being 10 minutes from Bridger Bowl is going to be sorely missed as well.

    Keeping up the land was getting too tough for them as they're in their 70s. They also wanted to be closer to all the grandkids down here in San Diego.

    30 foot polomino ... uhh the first one you google - they had monthly rates.
    Well all I can say is they are paying me a hefty wage, I haven't shopped for clothing yet but it's on my todo list before I go to hidden falls next weekend.

    Theres lots of 30' palimino models.
    1st, not a 4 season RV brand
    2nd if it has a outdoor kitchen make sure the plumbing lines to it are shut off and winterized. Youre not going to be using it and it will be the first thing to freeze
    3rd don't use the city water hook up. Again freezing danger


    Billings doesnt really see the below zero stuff. Maybe a day here and there but its not like you'll be on it for weeks on end.
    Invest in a good dehumidifier. Running the heat day and night will create a lot of humidity inside otherwise

    Must be a global warming thing then. As I recall my eastern MT time, -20, quite common, -30, occasional, -40, every few years had a few of these, painful on people and stuff outside (hope your seats aren't vinyl :) ).

    fill up the tank and disconnect the hose. if you leave the hose connected to the city water hook up it can freeze up and make its way inside

    Billings gets cold enough. Not ultra cold like some places in the state, but plenty cold. Is one of the "warmer" areas though during winter. Usually 5-10º warmer there than where i am
