    I just drove back from Death Valley and was on 191 early this morning. WOW haha what a procession of vehicles that was taking place going to big sky. Wow.

    Also traffic in Bozangles was pretty thick. Thicker than I'd have thought it would be. Thank god I don't have to deal with that every day.

    yup. the big sky parade starts early too. most of the contractors head up between 6 and 7 but it never really stops. always think about my coworkers who have to drive that every day, do not envy them at all....
    shoulda been here last weekend - bobcat playoff game. town was NUTS. I went in to run some errands and ended up turning around and coming back home. just didnt want to deal with it

    I grabbed it off FB Marketplace, it may have been on both though. It was in Butte.

    Figured now is a good time to jump into this thread, as I moved to Montana this last summer (escapee from WA). I landed just west of Troy, on the Kootenai, and things are finally starting to settle in.IMG_7143.jpg

    LOL, we need this every day until March to scare away all the californians and texans, one day isn't nearly enough.

    The cold and the wind has kept population low all these years. I don’t think people realize it before they move. It’s not in the “Move to Montana” brochure, lol.

    It's the main reason why most houses are summer homes and or vacation rentals these days

    Sadly you are so right! It's crazy the amount of Texas plates I see around these days. I would love to see them all headed back south personally.

    If I had known it would be like this, I would have made the move sooner. Although, I don't see the wind as much over here in Troy, tucked down in a valley just above the Kootenai.

    @Banditman
    I couldn't agree more. I see plates from everywhere here in the Helena area. The effects are far-reaching (and usually bad) for the average Montanan.
