There's better places for bear. I always wait at least 2 weeks after the opener for bears. Everything good is still snowed in.

We have to stay within a reasonable distance of Bozeman for my buddy so he can get to and from for family. That said Tobaccos and North Bridgers have the the highest density of black bear according to the FWP survey information. Would certainly be interested to hear about other locations though.

Not me. We need it badly. If it snows the next 2 weeks to mean a nice temperate summer with minimal fires then bring it on.

If everything works out, we will have it fully open next summer. - This year would be nice but time will be short. We cannot get in there until July 15 and only then if the weather cooperates. Thanks for sharing this.

Hello, my husband and I are visiting your lovely state at the end of may and we are planning on hitting Wild Bill trail. Any news or updates about the trail conditions? We have watched videos and are trying to get an idea of what to expect but was wondering if anyone can share their experiences on the trail? Any tips, side trips or must see? Do people camp on the trail? What is the wheeling like? TIA

Man...the amount we got hit with in the last two weeks. Everything is shut down and just now finally openeing up. Williston area, 80% of powerlines are down. Like poles knocked over and people still without power.

On that note...anyone know the going rate for a 04 doublecab with 200k on it? Seems clean, and I am itching to jump on it for a first car for the kiddo (10 years down the road).

    Seen anything from 6k-20k haha

The double cab 1st gens are in high demand. Check all the usual stuff. I paid 13.5k for mine in 2013 with 146k on it.

I figured as much. I don't see us going back to a midsize anytime soon, but I have the itch to build something besides the Z (talk about expensive) and it would fit the family in times of need. The company still provides a truck for everything else.

The admin on this Facebook page lives in that area, is familiar with the trail, and is a member on here. Maybe he, or someone else on his page can help.

Anyone recommend an area to hunt elk with a general archery tag?

Bulls or cows or both? And what’s your bear tolerance? Lotta folks love the gravellys for good elk numbers but there are a lot of bears down there.

My tag is either sex but bull would be preferred. My bear tolerance is generally pretty high. I'll check the Gravellys. Thanks
