I'm still up for doing white mountain if it rains, as long as at least a couple others are.

White Mountain being mostly small to medium rocks all over won't be too bad as far as mud is concerned.

Accuweather shows rain Monday and spotty showers Friday. Apple weather shows it raining all week haha. I’m going to see how the weather plays out.

@DarthPow I expect you to still be down even if there's rain :boink::D
After all, you did way better than me on White Mountain last time when it was covered in ice lol.

If you're 4wd with good AT tires and a lift you will be fine on White Mountain, even better if you have the TRD OR with elocker.

Regardless we can play it by ear when the day comes and see what conditions are like and who wants to do what

Yeah that should be fine, with 4wd and a locked rear diff White Mountain is a piece of cake under normal conditions. If its wet it will be trickier but with a group and spotters, recovery straps, etc if needed it will be fine. We can stick to the easier lines and there shouldn't be any issues. But ultimately we won't really know what it looks like until the day of depending on what the weather has in store for us this week.

The Weather Channel shows rain today, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If it stays like that there will definitely be mud up there. I'll keep an eye out.

Really? Huh that's cool...I had read that there was no way to use walkie talkie stations with HAM but if there is, then that'll make it easier for us for sure

I'll probably look at campsites over near Lake Arrowhead instead for that night just to avoid the Jeep crowd...hopefully White Mountain won't be packed. As long as they don't plan on running it backward it shouldn't be too bad.

One thing I've noticed about Jeep groups consistently is that they don't follow the small group etiquette and clog up trails with dozens of rigs at a time making it impossible sometimes to get around them until you come to a big enough spot. I guess we can see what it looks like in the AM when we get there.

Gold Mountain is a really popular Jeep trail so I'm sure that one's going to be bad, can't say I've ever run into a Jeep group on White Mountain before...only time I ran into a large group there it was a group of OC Overlanders in 4runners doing it backwards (sucked). Hopefully the Jeep guys are sticking to Gold Mtn and maybe some of the other trails over there.
