Monthly So Cal Off-Road Run

I can't do the 14th/Saturday cause I have to watch my daughter, but I can probably do Sunday. Wouldn't mind getting in one last snow trip before the season is up.

From what I hear, only the higher elevations are getting more snow this week since it's a warmer system. So probably just Big Bear that'll have any considerable amount

 

Yeah it's not overly chilly out. I'm good for sunday, my Gf and I will be staying the Night up in big bear saturday so I'm down for wheeling on Sunday. Might actually get to use the locking diffs this time.

 

Looks like there wont be much snow until mon n tuesday of next week in big bear

There may be snow left from thursday friday, but its gonna be in the 40’s up there this weekend and its supposed to just snow/rain thurs n fri. I got all excited too, but looks like snow runs is not gonna happen for me this winter. Unless I bail on tuesday up to big bear, pretty unlikely

unfortunately I can’t do Sunday so I gotta stick with Saturday. Anyone else up for Big Bear on Saturday? Probably just gonna do Gold Mountain or something just to get out and have a little fun.

Side note, I think I either have a U-joint going out or the needle bearing being stupid. Weird hum/vibes going on. Checked wheel bearings for play and they seemed okay.

Damn I wish I could make this run... I've been wanting to do Gold Mtn for a good while but I want to go with someone who has done it before
