Lmao. I wouldn’t say all that haha. Weather was nice a few weeks ago in big bear. Wouldn’t mind cruisin out for a day.

I’d imagine anywhere that isn’t the desert will be packed for the next few weeks with things just opening back up and people anxious to get out.

I’m getting a haircut tonight! :goingcrazy:

In the coming weeks I would like to organize a group run that will be less aggressive than some of my previous trips. Still trying to figure out location, etc. More of a “meet new people and have a beer” kind of trip.

What's the fun in that? Have a camp spot that's got easy trails and hard trails leading into it. You can still meet new people and have a beer at camp and do some "aggressive" stuff. lol

Can still have a good time and not get too aggressive with wheeling. Kind of get in the dirt and not beat on the truck too much idea.

I also do enjoy trying to be a positive member of the community and getting some less experienced peeps to push their comfort zones a little more. I’m by no means “experienced” myself but I can at least show people what a bad idea is and what not to do in hopes of helping avoid their own mistakes.

That's good man. We need people like that to counter people like me. I like to wheel in a small select group that already has experience. Large groups have never been my thing. Hell, I still don't have any form of social media. lol

As do I. I rarely attend any large meets outside of the San G annual meetup but it can be fun. I’ve got a tight group that are typically down to party.

I never said a large group run though. If there’s one thing that gets to me it’s large groups of slow vehicles clogging up any trail.

Yep. Then having absolutely zero wheeling etiquette when you try and get around them. I can't count how many times I've come to another vehicle heading in the opposite direction, with 7 rigs behind them, and they wave. How about letting me know that you have 7 rigs behind you by holding up five fingers on one hand and two on the other. Most people have no clue. lol

A couple topics that would be discussed on a trip as such. Haha.

I call it furthering the sport. Someone has to welcome the next generation of wheelers or we will end up with endless pictures of 50 2wd trucks stacked up on a "Run" down a fire road a mustang could make. Or the mountain roos.

Any ideas, preferences,or suggestions that would be good for such a run? Obviously somewhere that isn’t the desert to do our best at avoiding the heat.

Ive never done Cleghorn or Pilot Rock before.

I call it babysitting. Told you I'm anti-social.

I'm still waiting for the trends of climbing and wheeling to subside. I've been waiting 20 years now. I think I'm fucked. lol
