If you're lifted and have good AT tires you'll be okay, the stock skid plate can still handle what WM will throw at it if you have a couple inches of ground clearance over stock. Hell, one of the hardest wheelers I've ever run trails with has a highly modified 3rd gen and to this day he still runs a stock skid plate, lol. Don't ask me why (it's completely mangled but he still uses it).

My tires rub too...I'm getting an alignment tomorrow to hopefully adjust the caster and push the wheels forward but rubbing is a constant battle for me with 33s. As long as you aren't rubbing so bad that you're tearing up your tires, you'll be fine

I totally get it man. I 100% appreciate you with knowing the trails and discussing it up front explaining the difficulty and the possibility of damage on a stock ride. No feelings hurt here. If anyone else is actually going to hit up the fire roads and “easy trails” I’ll be down to go so I guess consider me on stand by. Lol

I think it's good to have yeah, most people on trails (at least in the Tacoma community in my experience) are using HAM radios.

If you're on Oahu you must stop in Haleiwa ( North Shore)at a restaurant called Cholo's . Awesome Mexican food

Also in Hawaii Kai near Honolulu stop at the Kona Brewing co , awesome food

If you want a good traditional Hawaiin breakfast stop at any Zippy's restaurant and order a dish of Loco Moco

My Brother lives in Kailua near the Kaneohe MCB and I visit him every year

Sorry to disappoint after all the back and forth about the trail run but wife got called into work this weekend Fri-Sun and we don’t have a babysitter to watch the kid. :frusty:I’ll keep my eye out for another one. It seems like this one is fading off because of the weather too. :rain:

I got directions to the garden thanks to all that tried helping. I'll upload pictures of the attempt. Rain may make it impossible though.

I dunno if you want to risk that stock 1st gen on White Mountain but if you wanna meet us at the staging spot and run the other trails then meet up with us afterward that'd be awesome. Have you done anything to the new truck yet? I know you just picked it up not that long ago

Dirty Trees only? Is it White Mountain or Gold Mountain that's easier? Some of the ifs guys want to take me on one of those 2 trails.
The new taco has all my icons swapped over and the solo uppers. Gotta pick up some sliders soon, I want to do schmell but it's a couple month wait list. Probably gonna end up Alpoo since I found a vendor who can get them fast
Also took it out to Stoddard Wells last weekend, 4x4ed in some hills. That was a fun experience

Oh yeah if you swapped your suspension over you should be good, White Mtn is way easier than Gold Mtn. You wanna meet us Sat morning at 9am?
