    It was 114 today.
We were rolling at 730. Done by 11 and I was home by 1230. Just in time for a 5 hour black out. 105 here on the west side today.
I think this tree spontaneously combusted.:eek:20200906_081533.jpg

I am sure it climbed higher, that was the temp on my dash in downtown LA when I was driving through at 1145 am. (114) I don't know what it end up being, didn't stick around to find out.:fistbump:

I don't think the Tacoma's dash outside temperature is accurate cause mine said 110 at 9:00AM but when I checked forecast in the city I was in only 102

I dont know how bad the air quality is down the hill but up here in the Victor Valley area it is very bad right now . Just checked the air quality for my area and it is currently at 237 ( very unhealthy) . The smoke is so thick its almost like fog and you can smell it
The smoke is from the Eldorado fire which is currently at 9k plus acres

Currently now at 12 , 610 acres and at 23 percent containment . Fire officials now warning residents near Big Bear to evacuate

These communities are Angelus Oaks, 7 Oaks, Barton Flats up to Onyx Summit

These are from Big Bear 09-14-2007. We were on a motorcycle trip and staying for the night. That's my wife and we watched for several hours waiting for the call to evacuate - never came.chopper_plumes_DSC_2324.jpg guard_rail_DSC_2335.jpg

Crazy. That's the gender reveal fire right?

We live in Monrovia right below the Bobcat Fire which is currently headed right toward us, but the planes/helicopters laid down a good defensive perimeter the other day with the fire retardant drops. So hopefully it won't come much closer.

I think you are kidding, but my pics are from 2007. To date, my wife has not revealed her real gender.

LOL sorry, I didn't read your post closely enough. I thought those were pics of the current fire heading up toward Bear Bear from Yucaipa, the one that got started during a gender reveal party when a smoke bomb went off.

    Carry on :anonymous:
