If anyone gets up there and decides not to wheel we have room for 2 more passengers. One in a jeep one in a 4runner.

Alex? That man is a beast. Havent heard from him in a while. He was the reason it took me so long to bite the bullet on getting real skids. I always figures if he could do it, so can I. Lol.

First time I went up White Mountain was with him

haha, yup Alex. We used to wheel together quite a bit early on, then he started getting into even gnarlier trails that I just didn't have the guts to do with my truck (still don't really lol).

I haven't heard from him in a long time either, in fact the last time he and I wheeled together was on White Mountain a little over a year ago. There was a storm coming in that day too (snow storm), when we got to the top of WM the wind was so bad you couldn't stand outside of the truck or you'd get blown over. It was crazy...we eventually finished WM then of course he wanted to do Gold Mountain as it was getting dark, so we started to but by then it was snowing pretty heavily and I had to get winched over the first couple obstacles which took forever, so we turned around and went home.

I haven't heard from him since and he's been silent on his instagram for a long time. He might just be taking a break for awhile, I know he had a kid last year sometime. I should text him and see how he's doing

Haha. Same. When I was up at White Mountain with him I saw him struggle getting through that bottom section and just offered to volunteer my video recording services for him. That ended up being a mistake. I didnt realize how steep the top of that damn hill was. The snow and mud made it a slip and slide. Had to hitch a ride from him back up. Lol

Last time I heard from him, he needed a new rear axle. He's planning on getting a built 9". Those conditions seem pretty similar to that time I was up there with him. Lol. Back when I was working at Winjet, I got him the rear lights for his truck as a test sample.

Sidenote, looks like I might not be able to make the White Mountain trip. I was hoping my lower shock mounts were going to come in time for me to re-do them, but its not looking like they will.

Down for a future run though, and if anyone wants to John Bull or Dishpan. Been itching to try these out just havent found the time, or anyone willing to go.

I want to do John Bull one of these days, that was one of the trails on my "not ready for" list but those I've talked to that have done it say that it's doable with 4x4, 33s and a rear locker if you pick careful lines.

Off topic, but how did the relocation go?

I'm hoping to do Holecomb Creek sometime this summer. Will keep you posted if we decide to make the trip.

If you plan a JB trip let me know. I'd be willing to do it again with terms to make the gatekeeper w/o assistance this time. Might be awhile before the truck is ready though.

    Sweet. Im up for that.

It went good, cutting off the old mounts was by far the shittiest part. God that sucked. I do have to also redo the lower mounts, I had them up a bit too high, but I'm thinking now I should wait a bit since Im planning on getting a new leaf pack from Atlas Spring. Welds could look nicer, but they'll hold. And one of the nuts that came in the kit was threaded weird, so Im getting a new nut/bolt when the new lower mounts come in

Thats what I've heard as well. I do have a set of those Milestars in 315 on order, they should hopefully be here in 5-7 weeks.

I've been using Atrac a lot lately and the thing works surprisingly well when the trails are dry. I get turning on the oem locker. Lol

My buddy did Holcomb and John bull with open diffs and 33s in his second gen 4runner. But not in the rain. And with an awesome spotter.
