I didn’t want to wheel in the rain and mud. And since the weather had said rain all week long up there I decided not to go. But from a picture a friend of mine listed up there it looks like the weather was nice. Not sure about the mud tho

Here's one of my buddy getting 3 wheel motion. I didnt get much pictures of me since I'm the trail leader. Someone's gotta test the waters.

Just got home, was a great trail run...we did the whole WM trail start to finish with no issues and the weather was great for the most part, some scattered rain off and on. But partly sunny most of the time.

No one needed recovery but some of the harder obstacles toward the end of WM required careful spotting for some. But everyone got through unscathed.

There was a fair amount of mud from the rain earlier this week but it wasn't as bad as I've seen it during the snow season.

Got some pics on my dslr I'll try to upload tonight....feeling 110% lazy AF right now lol

Ha ha ha... Dust and some mud is one thing. You’re entire under carriage in 1+ inches of mud is completely different ball game.

@Nicklovin owned White Mountain today, the harder obstacles were difficult for those with open rear diffs but freakin Nick just gunned it in 4lo over rocks and shelves like they werent even there.
Take it from me though man, long term that's gonna result in some expensive repairs/upgrades lol. Your new 1st gen kicks ass though.

Just got back also, and am having beers in Pasadena now...

It was in fact an awesome day. A long day, but an awesome one. Definitely some mud around, but easy to avoid getting your truck really muddy. Weather was fantastic, cool, partly cloudy, and some scattered showers...

    Here's my photo dump:

    20190511_094438.jpg 20190511_094522.jpg 20190511_122947.jpg 20190511_122953.jpg 20190511_123106.jpg 20190511_123114.jpg 20190511_132733.jpg 20190511_141011.jpg 20190511_140941.jpg 20190511_152146.jpg

And yea... @Nicklovin is a mad man.

Surprisingly the trails were nearly empty, on the 15 miles of fire roads we took from Green Valley Rd to White Mountain trail head we didn't see another soul. We did run into one of the Jeep groups doing White Mountain, coming down it the opposite direction (of course). Luckily we saw them from a ways away and we were able to pull into a spot big enough for all of our trucks while all 20 (yes, 20) Jeeps passed by us.

They were cool, the leader chatted with me for a few minutes about what the trail was like where we came from and the rest of the group waved as they passed. Most of them had those ridiculous pool noodles on their antennas lol.

Aside from them, saw maybe 2 or 3 other vehicles on the fire roads back out. Was surprisingly quiet out there today, which was nice
