    Sounds fun

Probably avoid the technical stuff with my dad though if there's considerable snow on the trails and stick to the easier routes

Probably not on Sunday, except maybe the same fire roads back down the mountain. We're headed out early Sat and my dad will probably want to head home after we get up on Sunday and grab breakfast somewhere

Most of the main group moved out of Socal, it was like a big exodus all of the sudden lol. But yeah it'd be fun to get it started up again, although I don't have nearly as much free time as I did a few years ago when that was going on (single and living by myself). Also don't know how I didn't destroy my poor stock truck back in those days. I'm a little more forward thinking about it now haha.

If you guys are both down, it'd be fun to cruise around the snow all around Big Bear maybe hit up some intermediate stuff, I can't go too hard with my dad riding with me and we have to claim a camp site somewhere (not sure where yet) before it gets too late in the day. I'm a little afraid of it being Memorial Day weekend and everything being taken, since a lot of campgrounds up there are 1st come 1st serve. But with the cold weather that might scare some people off I hope. I know there are a lot of dispersed sites in less traveled areas we might try and check out.

We're going to head up Saturday morning, was thinking of taking 3N14 up through Hesperia into Big Bear, from there I haven't really figured it out yet. Kinda want to see what conditions are like since I know they got more snow this week. Camping-wise most camp sites are 1st come 1st serve so we're going to see what we can find, probably look for a dispersed spot somewhere away from big groups. Just have to be sure it allows fires cause it's going to be cold Sat night (low 30s)

The only site that will allow fires is Holcomb Valley as far as I know. It'll definitely be chilly up there though. I would be surprised if it was busy even being a holiday weekend.

Sounds like I have some camping research to do tonight lol. If that's the case we'll have to get to Holcomb Valley early and claim a spot when we get up there, luckily my dad's bringing a ground tent so we can use his to hold a spot while we're out driving around.

Of all the times I've been to BB I've only camped there once surprisingly, one of the first TW meets but I'm hoping to avoid big group campgrounds like that

I could be wrong, they change the rules per fire danger, etc. The past trips I have been up thats the only site that will allow it. It's not too busy of a place and pretty low key but I'm totally cool with not if there are other options. Maybe enough trucks and we snag the group site? Let us know!

Yeah I'm totally down for having a group spot with you guys, more the merrier! Just don't want to be in a big campground with a bunch of rando's lol. If you guys are up for camping we grab a spot in Holcomb Valley early in the day hopefully

It will be snowing up there sunday...Let me think about it. Camping in the 30's isnt always my favorite thing to do.
