May is better for me, pretty much free any weekend that month as of right now. Plus, the iced over parts of White Mountain should be gone by then.
Otherwise the weekend of the 20th I could probably make work

@eon_blue I think May should be the goal. I would like to avoid the mud and snow haha

Saturday May 11th? How does that sound for the people that want to go?

Depends on the when and the trail rating. I don't do rock crawling since I'm not setup for that nor is it my lane anyway. :)

I'm not down for rock crawling either. Definitely won't be doing that. White Mtn doesn't look too bad. I watched the Trails Offroad video and it seems totally fine. I was thinking of doing 2N04. That one looks like a lot of fun, maybe split off to some other runs off that one. Still got plenty of time to figure out a good plan.

If you stick to the main trail then there's not really any rock crawling involved with White Mountain, just some fairly steep hills with loose rocks and dirt so 4wd is required. There are rocks but nothing like what you see on rock crawling vids, so you do want a skid plate...aftermarket is best but the stock one will do it's job but might take a little beating especially if you aren't lifted or are on stock size tires. Will need good AT tires.

There are some offshoots on White Mountain that are really tough, and toward the end of the trail (if you do it all the way) there are some tough lines/climbs. But there are a few exits off the trail before you get to that point that take you over to 3N16/Holcomb Valley Rd.

As of right now, I'm all stock with a BPF skid. So, we'll play it by ear.

Just want to make sure I tell it how it is...everyone probably rates the trail a little differently but I remember all too well what it's like to go on a trail that someone says is "easy" when in fact it's not easy at all, lol. When my 04 was bone stock I had a friend tell me that I could tackle Miller Jeep Trail just fine, so we went and did it...how I got through that trail with a stock 04 Tacoma is a mystery to me to this day (no sliders, stock skid, no lift, etc.). It was fun but the whole time I was asking him WTF made him think I could do this in my truck haha.

For the record, Miller Jeep is 10x harder than White Mountain...was just using it as an example.

Can I invite myself on this run? :D I need to re-try White Mountain since it was too snowy/icy/slushy when Ryan and I tried it a few weeks ago.

For sure, yeah we need to tackle it again after that...I can't let White Mountain win over me after having done it several times before. But yeah that late in the winter underneath all the fresh snow was solid ice. No traction at all, probably would have needed chains to go further.

Sweet, yea, May 11th should work for me, there's nothing on the calendar for that day yet. I'll put this down to claim it!
