10 vehicles on any trail is a bit much. That's almost Jeep group numbers but not quite Overlanding numbers.

Two groups would allow more people to go and also allow for more trail choice. One group does easier trails and the other has the freedom to get more technical. Is this an overnight trip or one day?

I’m up for a one day trip. Cool if I tag along with you if you lead a separate group?

I'm not 100% going yet but it does sound like a fun trip and I love BB. I typically won't make that drive for a day trip though so if we do go, we'll be staying the night. Let's see if there are any other parties who are interested in taking up the lead vehicle and go from there. Of course you're welcome to tag along if I end up taking point! :fistbump:

Camping overmight would be fun, you should totally do that! You could lead up the mountain, and then break off for your camp, and let them just find their own damn way down the mountain. :p jk, I'm sure someone would be down to take the lead once you break off.

My dad and I are going to make a camping trip out of it if you wanted to join us, not exactly sure which campground yet.

And yeah I initially suggested 10 thinking there'd be a few last minute cant-go's but this is shaping up to have a lot of committed people lol. 2 groups (maybe even 3) is a good idea. I did White Mtn solo once and a group of OC Overlanders came the other way with at least a dozen Toyotas, if I had been with a large group myself it would've been really difficult to get around them.

Yeah! Keep me posted for sure. It'll be the first Bear trip of the season and I hate doing a turn and burn. What trails were you thinking of doing?

Probably this one (White Mountain) on Saturday, time permitting maybe Gold after that since it's short? Then maybe something else on Sunday too before heading out depending on how my dad feels about it. Haven't done Holcomb yet but I'm sort of on the fence a about it, could probably be swayed into attempting it lol

Holcomb is one of the last technical trails up there that I haven't done. Want to check it off but not very interested in breaking something.

Lower Largo is a fun trail too that runs into Holcomb and bypasses the gatekeeper. We've done that.

Yeah I was interested in doing Lower Largo a few months ago but got talked out of it (there was a lot of snow up there), apparently it's pretty challenging or at least more challenging than how it's described on Trails Offroad. I think you were with Danny, Mike and them when they did it last year right?

I definitely don't want to be breaking anything either, my truck $$ fund is currently going toward filling up the gas tank with the crazy ass gas prices we have right now haha :boom:

I think it's going to have to be 2 minimum, maybe even three depending on how many confirmed people there are

It's definitely not a trail I would be fond of doing in the snow. I wouldn't call it an "easy" trail by any means. Plenty of spots to make a challenge. I didn't do it with Danny and I'm not sure which Mike you're talking about. @eccracer104 or @Mike likes Tacos ?

@eccracer104 , although I might be thinking of @Prayn4surf ...I know he did it last year too. I get everyone mixed up lol.

Anyway hopefully by next month there won't be much if any snow to contend with on any of those trails, @DarthPow and I couldn't even get to the top of White Mountain last month with how icy it still was up there. Was just like that hill on Heartbreak we all got hung up on except even more ice/snow.

I did it with @eccracer104 and @Prayn4surf with a few others last year.

I'm less likely to break something going to Mike's Sky Ranch. Do you think you're you in for that trip?

@Prayn4surf is hesitant to take his truck down there and I haven't really settled on a date yet. I'm open for input.
