    That may be true....

But I have them sitting in my garage and ones already mounted to check clearance so you have some catching up to do.

Yeah that sounds good, appreciate it man!

I’ll prob run Gold with my dad and other buddies Saturday then.

Been wanting to go up to Mount Pacifico but the gate is closed.I’d def be down to camp out and such.

Where y’all thinking setting up camp? Holcomb valley campground is the only one I know of.

    Technically speaking it should run...

but I'd let you have it if your truck FULLY cycles the suspension and sits on it's own weight.

Depends on the campsite but if it's Holcomb Valley campground I think it's 20 per night? There's only a few campgrounds up there where you can have fires and Holcomb Creek is one of them, I'm not sure which one the guys are planning on yet

Holcomb Valley is my normal go to due to location and it's one of the only sites that allows fires. I'm not sure about the restrictions this time a year though. They may have a complete ban right now due to the heat. I think it's $15 per site and $7 for an additional vehicle. You can easily fit 2 trucks in one site or maybe 3 if done carefully.

There's also a decent group site if we have enough people and it's available. That site is like $120 but can hold like 10 trucks without issue.

We haven't really discussed it. It's difficult to plan because you can't make reservations

Sure, it has nothing to do with you having to tub your firewall or notch your frame... :jerkoff:

yeah my dad and I went up there a little over a month ago and got in around 11am to claim a spot, by the late afternoon everything was taken. I think it would be good for us to try and do the same, head there first in the AM and buy our spots and hopefully we can all have ones neighboring one another.

The only down side to that is I was planning on meeting at Green Valley since the south side of Holcomb is very close to that.

There are lots of yellow posts we could snag too if no sites are available and it’s hot enough to not need a fire

Ahh yeah that's right I always forget the entrance to the trail is right over there.

Since I'm a lot closer, I could try and get there earlier and see if I can snag us a few spots at Holcomb and you guys could just pay me back when you get there...if the campsite manager allows that anyway. Not sure if there's a limit to how many spots one person can claim. We can talk more about it next week though

Ya same here, I could actually get up there Friday night since I’m coming in from riverside. How many spots are we trying to snag?

narrowing down my checklist to getting the truck ready. Anything coming up that I could possible plan for?

I got my crew (wife and kids lol) and don't want to go out alone. This will be the first trip, looking for something mellow and nothing that requires sliders lol

    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
Yea, missed this month. I'm about ready (actually way past ready) and have a few things left. installing the winch today and spent the morning tearing through the garage. lost a fatlink winch hook somewhere out there. there's an actual pile of parts waiting to install. it's never ending.
