I know another suspension thread. Ive only read about 4 hours of them today.

I see a lot of threads about stock height and using the 4600s, but it seems half the people pair them with 81082s and the other half with 81104s.

I searched on the website and it says the 81082s are for the PreRunner and the 81104s are for the "off road package"

For context I have a 2000 Prerunner TRD 3.4 with 220k miles on it so i feel like the stock springs may be worn out. Im not really sure what coil im supposed to use. im sure they both would work just fine but im wondering what possible some pros and cons are of each.

    Welcome to TW

I'm not at all versed in Tacoma Moog coils, but can say that the difference in offerings will be the spring rate.

Being a Prerunner, you're lacking the extra weight of cv axles, front diff, and transfer case. This makes you a lot lighter than a 4x4 variant.

The 81104 are rated at 595lb which is meant for a 4x4.

I can't find specs for 81082, and it seems everyone that has carried them is on indefinite backorder for them.

Digging up this old thread, have yall been able to find a spring in stock since this was posted? Everywhere ive looked for a stock spring has been out of stock or discontinued.

Let me rephrase that, I meant a stock height spring such as the moog and acdelco alternate parts. All of them seem to be out of stock. The only springs i can find are those such as OME and other aftermarket lift springs.
