I believe the bushings on the Moog LCA assemblies are NOT replaceable, and instead requires that you replace the whole LCA assembly since they are basically just cheap throwaways. Moog does however make replacement bushings for the OEM LCAs.

Thanks for the reply. I thought that might be the case.

Fortunately I still have my OEM LCAs, maybe I'll just leisurely rebuild those...

The oem LCA's aren't hard to rebuild, I have rebuild mine two times over by now. I ran pro-forged ball joints and those boots failed after like 30k to I went with Moog ball joints. I pressed in the whiteline bushing set with the initial rebuild and keep them thoroughly coated in never-seize yearly so the alignment hardware never freezes up. Pressing the ball joints out/in is a bitch and even harder with those c-clamp style kits so I use a 20 ton shop press I have access to.

My Dorman LCAs are starting to snap crackle and pop. I too kept my oem LCAs and will rebuild them. Then take apart the Dormans to see if they are rebuildable. I got what I expected out of them, about five years. The BJs I had to replace within a year though.

Bumping this because i am going to need new control arms. I understand there is much hate for the Moog pieces...but are the Napa lower control arms good? For the price I would expect them to be better than Moog.

In my research go with the premium "CK" Moog or ACDelco.

The CK stuff is listed on the MOOG website but actually trying to buy it....that is a different story. The RK stuff seems to be available.

Guess I will try the ACDelco stuff.

The only difference I found between the CK and RK was the ball joint, cheaper one has no grease fitting. I installed the Moog arms a few thousand miles ago without a grease fitting. They seem fine and look just like OEM. You can always get the better ball joint in the future and put it in. Just make sure that you torque the control arms when the suspension is under load not jacked up.

Question for those with Moog lowers. I recently purchased a set of Moog RK line LCAs and there was a grease fitting inside the package. Should I just use that to fill the ball joint then remove it, or does it stay installed?

I may be doing something wrong but there seems to be a clearance issue.
