Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
Does anyone know anything about these strut assemblies:

I need to replace my front struts due to broken studs. In the perfect world, I'd get a complete OME kit and not look back. However, with my 2.7L and 3.91 gears, I'd have to regear if I got taller tires. I know I don't "need" to get taller tires with a lift but frankly it would look goofy running 30.5" tires with a 3" lift.

While I can afford the lift, I cannot afford the tires or gears for some time, possibly a year or more. I'm debating getting these MOOG strut assemblies instead and continue to focus on skids, bumpers and a winch prior to tackling the lift and gears.

I just don't want to replace a crap OEM front suspension with a crap aftermarket front suspension thats no better than OEM.

That's exactly what you will be doing. These preassembled struts from Moog, Monroe, etc. are only intended to be "as good as" OEM but at a lower price.

If you think the OEM front suspension is crap, then get Old Man Emu and deal with the odd looks until you can afford new tires. If you get 32" tires (like 265/75-16), the 6% diameter change won't cause a significant drain.
