Yeah I'll see what happens. Main reason I went with them is their boot design looks much better than the others.

Replaced engine with an '07 FJ Cruiser motor. Clutch accumulator deleted. WIP. plan to add new exhaust, cold air intake, URD short throw shifter,
I'm planning on replacing the CV axles on my truck here this weekend. my brother suggested doing the TREs at the same time since they're probably worn. Little travel in my steering, and trucks got 112k mi. I just bought it and have been goin thru it, so they're probably original.
I was going to go w/ the MOOGs, but after reading this thread now I think I may be better off leaving them alone.

FYI - Toyota parts has MSRP listed as $52.05, $14 more than the Moogs. so, not that much of a price difference really if they're going to hold up / fit better.

I came across these outer ones the other day. They seem like they may be worth a try.

So far it looks like the boot on the passenger side busted at the base. Idk if it’s because of the design or if I just put too much grease in them. Either way I’m thinking about replacing them with the Proforged ones.
