Just put my moon roof up to day on my 2016 TRD OFF ROAD and was wondering if it would be a good idea to put something on the rubber gasket the seals it to the roof when closed, Like and ArmorAll product or some thing similar

    Thanks Tom C.

Treat it like any other rubber seal on your truck, lots of products....but yes give it a rub down.

No! Either clean with soap and water or isopropyl alcohol. Don't spray any kinda of lubricants on them. Overtime they breakdown the rubber and cause cracking and stuff

I 303 all of the rubber gaskets on my truck after every wash. I don't have a moon roof though, but I don't know why it would be any different. I have heard that amour-all can actually dry rubber out over time.
    I am a big fan of 303.

I'm not saying do it every week. Personally I would just use light soap and water. But if you want to use something else for the most part isopropyl alcohol should be ok. It will take a long time for that to dry out the seals, honestly UV Rays will do more damage over time they isopropyl alcohol will
