anywhere along the race course, at least 150 feet from it. Some areas are slower than the others.

If you dont have GPS, then stick close to Slash X and Barstow Main and follow other people and stick to where they spectate.

If you have GPS, download the race course to your GPS and have some fun driving around on the chase roads and access roads to different parts of the course.

if you want to see some speed, MM12 to MM15 over by Slash X is wide open wash...

then, MM29 to MM32 is a wide open whoop section that is alongside the 15fwy and is just south of start/finish...

night race can be fun... just have to find the right spots and definitely be there early in the race before trucks start breaking...

also, try not to wear black clothing and if you do, wear a safety vest or carry a lantern so traffic can see you wandering out there, especially if you decide to drop your pants to piss or pop a squat out in the middle of nowhere...

for my Garmin, i use gpsvisualizer.com to convert to .gpx and then load into Garmin Base Camp to sync with GPS...

I will be at Engage tonight to help prep the race truck and finalize Chase routes and assignments.

Remember, if you plan to spectate or chase, and have a GPS unit, let me know what type of files you need (format-wise) and I will try to provide you with the files.
