    Howdy folks...

So I've got a 2012 AC OR 4x4 and recently installed a used set of 5100s at all corners, a used Icon AAL set in the rear and new OME 885s (new set of springs because the used ones were bent) on the front. I made the mistake of not measuring prior to install, so I don't have those previous measurements. But thanks to some other posts, I believe the stock measurements for the front are 20.5" from hub to fender and rear are 21.5" from hub to fender. The 5100s are set at zero, but coupled with the new 885s I'm only showing 22" in the front. I was hoping I could get a full 2.5" on the front, but obviously that didn't happen. The rear is sitting at a solid 2-2.5" lift, so that is fine for me.

The question is, to get the more lift I want, should I set the 5100s at .85? Spacer? Or new/different springs?

I have attached some pictures since they are worth a 1000 words. And frankly, I like my truck and haven't posted photos of it yet.

If you don't like the shocks, I understand. Just ship them to me for free and go back to stock. You'll be much happier :D

Nothing is guaranteed with lift heights.. I'd think you'd be nose high if you moved them to .85 setting, but another option is selling those 885s and swapping in 887s.

Even better would be to add top plate spacers instead, and spend less money for the same overall result - you'll have more luck that way, I think.

Haha! I got this set for free. Did the old switch-a-roo with a coworker, my stock stuff for his lifted stuff. So I'm not really complaining. I love the ride, just trying to get a little more height.

I was leaning towards a top plate spacer, but couldn't decide which would be better. Just out of curiosity I'll have to check out those 887s.

Thanks for the responses and input.
