Regarding noisy pulleys and or belt squeak; when I was actively on the line( fords,Chrysler, Mitsubishi, occasional Tacoma, etc) stopped the engine. Got barkeeps friend, or Ajax, comet, etc., and sprinkled a little bit where the belt intersected at a pulley, forming a vee. Usually a couple places. Start the engine, cloud of dust, but by god, it quieted things down. Be aware that misaligned pulleys….helps for a minute or so. NEVER use silicone or belt dressing!

I replaced my tensioner a couple of months ago and it was definitely a PITA. A lot of labor went into it.
